VANDERSTAR ENGINEERING & ASSOCIATES under contract with Waveteq Communications Inc. worked with Formashape, the world’s largest waterslide manufacturer to design, deploy and implement an indoor/outdoor wireless system that enabled bar code scanners to track inventory and to ensure shipments were complete. An added benefit of the deployed system was the monthly inventory recording which previously took two days was reduced to two hours. The system also allowed for access to the Internet anywhere in the production enabling easier access to service manuals at the locations required introducing flexibility into the work environment for company personnel.
